Robinhood Rolls Out AI Trading Agents, 10x Crypto Perps and Weekend Stock Trading
Robinhood is rolling out a set of new trading features aimed at active traders, according to CoinDesk. The additions include AI agents, crypto perpetual futures with up to 10x leverage, and weekend stock trading.
The new AI tool, called Robinhood Agents, lets users build their own AI agents inside the app, according to The Block. The Defiant reports the agents can trade around the clock and that trade approvals will default to on. A planned feature called Loops will let users run recurring trading strategies continuously, per The Defiant.
On the crypto side, Robinhood is introducing perpetual futures contracts with leverage up to 10x, according to CoinDesk. The platform is also extending stock trading to weekends, a feature previously reported by both CoinDesk and The Block as part of the same push.
Taken together, the rollout expands Robinhood’s product lineup beyond traditional stock and crypto trading into automated, always-on trading tools and higher-leverage crypto derivatives, positioning the company to compete more directly for frequent, active traders.
